I work as a postdoctoral researcher working on the neurobiological mechanisms of trigeminovascular signaling, with particular interest in neuropeptide systems involved in cephalic nociceptive transmission. I hold an MD degree and a PhD in medical pharmacology.
Using in vivo electrophysiology, I explore how specific signaling molecules contribute to migraine attack initiation and termination. My previous experience also includes clinical research, biobanking procedures, and management of multicenter scientific collaboration. I aim to connect mechanistic preclinical findings with clinically relevant questions and support the development of more targeted therapeutic strategies for migraine.
