I joined the Center for Discoveries in Migraine (CDM) in September 2025 as a PhD student and medical doctor. My work centers on human provocation studies, where, under controlled clinical conditions, I give participants signaling molecules to trigger migraine attacks. This lets me study how migraine begins and resolves and helps pinpoint promising targets for future treatments.
Prior to CDM I practiced as a physician at the University Clinical Centre of Serbia, and I hold a medical degree from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Medicine. That clinical experience informs the patient-focused way I approach my research, and I am driven by the goal of uncovering what sets a migraine attack in motion so that future therapies can be designed around its underlying biology.
