I am a physician-scientist and postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Discoveries in Migraine (CDM), Copenhagen University Hospital – Rigshospitalet. I hold an MD and PhD from the University of Copenhagen. My research focuses on the pathophysiology of migraine and post-traumatic headache, with a particular interest in neuropeptide signalling, including CGRP, PACAP, and substance P, amylin and adrenomedullin, and their role in trigeminovascular activation. I employ human provocation models, clinical trials, neuroimaging, and biomarker analyses to advance our understanding of headache mechanisms and identify new therapeutic targets. I also serve as an elected board of the Danish Headache Society.
