As a PhD fellow in the Center for Discoveries in Migraine, my research focuses on the epidemiology of headache disorders, particularly migraine. My work is part of the HEAD-WINd project, a public-private collaborative research initiative based on nationwide survey data linked to Danish national heath registries. I aim to generate new population-based insights into headache prevalence, characteristics, sociodemographic patterns, and the broader burden of headache disorders.
I hold a MSc in Public Health, with experience in registry-based data and research, and epidemiological methods. I gained valuable experience into the epidemiological field while working in an epidemiological research unit during my studies. My interest in headache and migraine research stems from their high population prevalence, considerable individual and societal burden, and the continued need for improved recognition, and evidence-based prioritization.
